The subject of this case is the “Ambassador Program” conducted by Nestlé Japan Ltd. The Company is establishing a business model called the “Ambassador Program” in order to leverage existing customers, called “Ambassadors” to acquire new customers while also conducting trials for targeting, payment models and pricing strategies as a method of acquiring processes that successfully lead to new business. Various other concepts are also being studied, including value-sharing with customers and customer engagement activities.
